Hưng Yên oranges are famous for their superior quality compared to other localities. This is because gardeners and ornamental growers in Hưng Yên always combine traditional farming skills with the latest technologies and technical advances into the VietGAP production model, ensuring quality and safety for consumers.
This year marks the first Hưng Yên Orange Festival 2017 and it is expected to be an occasion to promote and introduce agricultural products from Hưng Yên Province in general and the province’s oranges in particular, helping to expand the market of agricultural products and increase income for producers.
Hưng Yên Orange Week is one of a number of agricultural festivals which are going to be held from now until the end of year.
One of the other festivals, the Việt Nam Local Specialities Fair 2017, is currently taking place at Vincom Mega Mall Royal City in Hà Nội, with some 200 businesses introducing typical products from 55 cities and provinces nationwide. The fair has become a key event to help localities’ products join the supply-consumption chain in Hà Nội and has also connected domestic agricultural producers with importers and modern retail systems. The fair will run until November 26. — Quang
