HCM CITY — HCM City is mulling a make over for Nguyễn Huệ pedestrian street in District 1.
Numerous water fountains and lighting systems will be installed on the pedestrian street, according to the city’s People Committee, as well as public restrooms, parking lots, street food stalls and vending machines to serve visitors during festivals and events.
There is also a plan to connect the pedestrian street with the park in front of the Municipal Theater and Lê Lợi Street, to connect the spaces of Nguyễn Huệ, Tôn Đức Thắng and Hàm Nghi streets.
