The meeting is being attended by 164 WTO members. On the second day, July 24rd, the WTO meeting is focusing on the trade dispute between Japan and South Korea.
According to South Korea, Japan's restrictions on exports violates WTO's regulations, hence, calling Tokyo to remove them. As for Japan, they said those restrictions are neccessary to resolve a national security issue.
Trade tension might increase if Japan keeps threatening to remove South Korea from the "white list", which is a list of countries exempted from Japanese trade restrictions.
