Tapa is a traditional Spanish dish that is often served as a snack or as an appetizer in bars and restaurants. Tapa commonly comes in small portions and some of the most popular tapas in Spain are bread with cheese, olives and bell pepper, and eggplant grilled with cheese.
Spanish Ambassador to Vietnam Maria Jesus Figa Lopez Palop said Spanish people usually enjoy tapas with their friends and move from bars to bars to taste different tapas.
Participating restaurants in Hanoi, Danang, Hoi An and HCMC will offer the “one glass of wine, one tapa” program with special discounts and exciting gifts.
In addition, there will be a contest on Tapa recipes and quizzes on Spanish cuisine. This is a chance to not only promote Spanish cuisine but also strengthen the relationships between Vietnam and Spain.
