Among them are chef Viktor Belyaev from Russia who worked for a total of three decades at the Kremlin, Swedish master chef Gert Klötzke and chef Dr T Publis Silva of Sri Lanka.
Still others are also well known in the industry and considered unique in some way from a culinary aspect.
In total, 12 chefs, restaurateurs and other cooks will arrive in Hoi An from around the globe, along with dozens of culinary critics who will cover the event.
The teams from abroad will take over the kitchens of the host restaurants in the city for one week and make new, unique meals centred around Hoi An’s flagship dishes and spices.
