The second phase of the social housing project at the Thuy Van Complex has total investment of over 600 billion VND and a total area of over 3.5ha.
The project will build over 1,000 apartments with an area of 32.7-74.9m2 each.
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said the construction of the housing project is an important event, helping to address housing demand for low-income earners.
The authorities of Thua Thien-Hue province have paid much attention to developing social housing, generating nearly 10,300 social apartments in response to the project “Building at least 1 million social apartments for low-income earners and workers in industrial zones in the 2021-2030 period”.
