The first project is a factory by Greenworks Vietnam to produce gardening tools at the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park within the Thai Binh Economic Zone at a cost of 4.6 trillion VND (194.6 million).
The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed in August 2023, with the second and third phases expected to come into operation in February 2025 and February 2026.
The project is expected to generate annual revenue of 6.9 trillion VND (291.9 million USD) and create 5,000 jobs.
The second project belongs to Be Bright, which manufactures lighting devices and home accessories, and is worth 1.75 trillion VND (74 million USD) at the Tien Hai Industrial Park.
The first phase is scheduled for completion in March 2024, followed by the second phase in January 2025 and the third phase in May 2025.
The project is expected to generate 2.1 trillion VND (88.9 million USD) in annual revenue and provide 2,500 jobs.
On the same day, Thai Binh also held a ceremony to inaugurate a 679 billion VND (28.7 million) project to upgrade National Highway 37 and Song Hoa Bridge, linking the province with Hai Phong.
