Woman arrested for infant trafficking
VTV.vn - Lò Thị Nguyệt from Thuận Châu district, Sơn La province was arrested at the Hữu Nghị International border gate while illegally transporting a 7-day old infant.
The woman was on her way to Fujian Province to bring the child to Chinese buyers. If she was successful, Lo Thi Nguyet would have received about 700 USD. Currently, the child is being taken care of at Lang Son province's General Social Protection Facility.
