To mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (19/8/1945 - 19/8/2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/9/1945 - 2/9/2025), and in accordance with the directives of the Central Steering Committee for Major Anniversaries and Historical Events (2023-2025), as well as instructions from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh regarding the organization of special artistic programs for the public and the promotion of Vietnam’s cultural and entertainment industries, VTV has launched a series of grand political-artistic productions.
Programs such as Radiant Vietnam, Golden Opportunity, Under the Glorious Flag, Tribute - The River of Fire and Flowers, as well as artistic events like V Concert - Radiant Vietnam, V Fest - Radiant Youth, and V Fest - Vietnam Today have not only impressed with their production scale but also attracted unprecedented attention across VTV’s digital platforms, affirming the powerful spread of national pride.
The success of these programs is reflected in impressive statistics. Across all of VTV’s social media platforms, content related to the 80th anniversary programs received over 1.6 billion views, a record-breaking figure that demonstrates both the reach and appeal of VTV’s high-quality productions.
Over 5,200 official posts were published to continuously update and spark vibrant discussions about the events online. The hashtag #RangroVietNam was used in more than 500,000 posts showing the profound effect that these programs had on the public and making them and topics of national conversation and expressions of patriotism in the digital space.
The highlight event - the 80th National Day celebration, parade, and march - drew more than 1.2 billion views. Meanwhile, political-artistic productions such as Golden Opportunity and Under the Glorious Flag gained over 40 million views across VTV’s social media platforms.
Alongside these programs, the grand music festivals produced by Vietnam Television successfully captivated young audiences and created a strong buzz on social media. This impact was partly reflected in the numbers: a total of more than 360 million views; 112,005 discussions generated around V Concert - Radiant Vietnam; and 362,500 discussions about V Fest - Vietnam Today.
These record-breaking figures reflect not only the widespread national pride and patriotism being shared across the community but also serve as motivation for VTV’s production teams to continue fulfilling their mission.
