The ceremony was held by the communist party of Vietnam's Central Committee's Commission for Communication and Education, in co-operation with the Steering Committee for External Information Services.
More than 1000 works in different fields such as traditional press, online newspaper, radio, television, and photos in 15 different languages have participated in the competition. This is the fourth year the event has been organized.
