Whirlwind ravages Mekong delta

In Cà Mau Province, about 110 houses collapsed or were unroofed. Estimated damages near 43.4 thousand USD.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. In Trà Vinh Province, whirlwinds on Thursday destroyed 18 houses in Càn Long District. Many trees in Trà Vinh City were struck down. Total damages amounted to 87 thousand USD.

On July 11th, about 60 houses in Hậu Giang and Vĩnh Long Provinces also collapsed due to whirlwinds and thunderstorms.
