In attendance at the ceremony, representing VTV were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Government, Secretary of the Party Committee - General Director of VTV; Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Deputy General Director; Mr. Do Duc Hoang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Quyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Viet Phuong, Deputy Secretary in charge of the VTV Party Committee; alongside members of the Standing Committee, the Project Owner - VTV Office, leaders of VTV units, and representatives of the Project Management Board.
Representatives from consultancy and construction units companies were also in attendance, including those from the Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation (VNCC), CONINCO, and the 136 Group JSC - Huy Hoang International Investment and Trading JSC joint venture.
The project, “Studio S1 and Central Square”, covers an area of approximately 10,034 m², comprising two main components: Studio S1 and Central Square. Approved under Decision No. 935/QD-THVN on August 31, 2023, it was funded entirely by VTV’s legitimate revenue and managed by the VTV Office as the Project Owner.

General Director Nguyen Thanh Lam stressed that the entire project was funded by VTV’s own revenue, a meaningful symbol of VTV’s self-reliance, accumulation, and determination over many years,making it a notable self-built achievement.
The General Director also expressed gratitude for the continuous guidance of VTV’s leadership across different terms, and especially acknowledged the efforts of Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and former General Director of VTV, who initiated and directed the foundations for the new studio.
At the ceremony, VTV announced Decision No. 371-QD/DU by the Secretary of the Government Party Affairs Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, recognizing the “Studio S1 and Central Square” project as a celebratory project for the 14th National Party Congress. Certificates of Merit were also awarded by the General Director to exemplary collectives and individuals participating in the project.

The S1 studio, with a capacity for 750 spectators, can host political programs, major events, sports, cultural and artistic shows, game shows, and large-scale live recordings.
