The Closing Ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition - 80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness took place on the evening of 15 September at the National Exhibition and Fair Center inDong Anh, Hanoi.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 50 “Outstanding Exhibition Space” awards to exhibitors. VTV was among the 15 central agencies, ministries, and sectors recognized.
Other recipients included the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Office of the National Assembly, the Office of the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Religions, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Government Inspectorate, Nhan Dan Newspaper, and Vietnam Television.

Alongside this, the Organizing Committee also presented 15 “Outstanding Exhibition Space” awards to provinces and centrally governed cities, as well as 20 to exemplary state-owned and private enterprises.
This award honors organizations that have made exceptional contributions to the design, arrangement and staging of exhibition areas that showcased the nation’s achievements throughout 80 years of building and development. This recognition not only acknowledges their accomplishments but also encourages the units to foster further creativity, enhance the quality of design and content, and improve exhibition methods.

At the Closing Ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Party and State leaders also conferred Certificates of Merit to 36 collectives for their outstanding contributions to organizing and participating in the exhibition, including Vietnam Television.

From August 28 to September 15, VTV’s exhibition space consistently attracted large crowds of visitors of all ages. Through a series of engaging activities under the theme “VTV - 55 Years of Pride and Growth with the Nation”, the exhibition highlighted VTV’s 55-year journey alongside the country’s development. It reflected VTV’s dual mission of conveying Party and State policies while also preserving and spreading Vietnam’s cultural values. Furthermore, it emphasized VTV’s role in presenting Vietnam’ as a peace-loving, dynamic, and forward-looking nation to international audiences.

The National Exhibition on Achievements of the Country, themed "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", is a major political and cultural event marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. The exhibition took place from August 28 to September 15 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi. This has been the largest exhibition ever organized in Vietnam, with 28 ministries and central agencies, 34 provinces and cities, and over 110 major state-owned and private enterprises and corporations participating. Spread across more than 230 exhibition spaces, the event showcased the achievements of almost 180 industries and fields throughout the nation’s 80-year development journey.
The exhibition covered an area of nearly 260,000 m², including both indoor and outdoor display spaces. The exhibition areas were divided into six main themes, reflecting the country’s development path: Vietnam - Land - People; 95 Years of the Party’s Guiding Flag; Construction and Development; Economic Driving Forces; National Entrepreneurship; Prosperous Provinces, Strong Nation.
