VTV Awards are given out annually to recognize the efforts, innovations, and exceptional people who consistently produce high-caliber shows and works. This year, 2024, marks the 11th VTV Awards season.
This year's nominated outstanding works are those that were aired on VTV's channels and digital platforms from November 11, 2023 to November 11, 2024.
The VTV Awards 2024 will be presented during the program "Welcome New Year 2025" - a special program produced by Vietnam Television to welcome the New Year, which will be broadcast live at 20:10 on January 1, 2025 on the VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television.
VTV Awards nomination categories:
1. Impressive Documentary
2. Creative program
3. Impressive young faces
4. Impressive actor
5. Impressive actress
6. Impressive TV Series
7. Impressive entertainment program
8. Image with spiral effect
As every year, the VTV Awards voting will be divided into two rounds. Round 1 will start on December 1st at 12:00 and will last until December 23rd at 12:00. In Round 1, 50% of the points will be awarded by the audience ( voted by via VTVGo and SMS) and 50% of the points will be awarded by the Professional Council.
After the first round of voting is completed, the organizing committee will select the top 3 from each category to advance to the second round. However, out of the original 8 categories, only 5 categories will have a second round of voting, including the categories: Impressive Actor, Impressive Actress, Impressive TV Series, Impressive Entertainment Program and Image with Spiral Effect.
The three categories with only one round of voting are Impressive Documentary, Creative Program of the Year and Impressive Young Face. The voting results for the top 3 in these three categories will be kept confidential until the awards ceremony.
Round 2 will start on December 25, 2024 at 12:00 and will end on January 1, 2025 at 12:00. In this round, all points will be awarded by the audience.
