Within the reception, VP Xuan congratulated the young talents who were honoured to receive the Golden Globe Awards for their outstanding research projects or solutions in science and technology as well as the Vietnam Women's Science and Technology Award in 2022.
Speaking highly of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee’s initiative to organise the two awards, the VP noted that the awards have nurtured and discovered young talents over the years; thereby, contributing to shortening the gender gap in scientific research, and building a contingent of young people, especially young female intellectuals, in science and technology.
VP Xuan noted that it is necessary to continue to study and propose specific mechanisms and policies to the Party, State and National Assembly in order to have more comprehensive mechanisms and policies to capture the thoughts and aspirations of young scientists so that they may continue to maintain their passion and dedication to the country; spreading the scientific and technological research movement to develop the country in the new context.
