VN Index falls on heavyweight shares

The benchmark VN Index on the HCM Stock Exchange reversed Wednesday's gain, slipping by 5.98 points to close at 767.59 points. The VN30 Index, tracking the 30 largest stocks in the southern bourse, decreased 6.17 points to reach 749.86 points. On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX Index went down 1.25 points to 100.49 points. However, the Upcom Index of unlisted companies saw an increase of 0.11 points to finish the day at 54.64 points.
