Visit to flood-stricken district in Quang Nam province

The delegation was led by Pham Minh Chinh – Politbureau member and Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission. The Politburo member expressed his deepest condolences to families who lost loved ones during the storm in early November.

He called on residents to unite in working together to overcome difficulties in the aftermath of the storm. He further called on authorities at all levels in Quang Nam to boost assistance of local residents so they may soon resume their normal lives. The delegation also provided financial support from the Party Central Committee to the Bac Tra My and Nam Tra My districts to alleviate flood damages.
