Having been held for 16 years, the competition Robocon Vietnam has become a familiar playground for young technological enthusiasts. From this contest, young Vietnamese innovators will compete in bigger playground which is the Asia Robocon Robocon (ABU Robocon).
Robocon Vietnam 2018 kicked off with the concept based on a Vietnamese folk games: shuttlecock throwing. “One of the differences of this year competition relies on the through investigation of the robot arms to make it handy enough to hold the shuttlecock, release it and throw it through the circle as stated in the competition theme”, said Ha Trang from the Educational and Scientific Programs department.
The 2018 ABU Robocon will be held in the Vietnamese province of Ninh Binh between August 24th and 28th. As the third time host of the competition, Vietnam Television is actively preparing for the even.
