VTV.vn - A wide range of activities have been held in countries around the world to mark the National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945-2020).

In Vientiane, Lao Deputy Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and other Lao leaders visited the Vietnamese Embassy on September 1 to offer congratulations on the significant achievements recorded by the Party, State and people of Vietnam over the past 75 years.

On the same day, a photo exhibition on Vietnam-Laos cooperation was held by the Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism at the Lao National Cultural Hall.

In Cuba, the Vietnamese Embassy hosted a ceremony to mark National Day, during which Ambassador Le Thanh Tung thanked the Cuban people for their support and expressed his belief that the Vietnam-Cuba relationship will be further strengthened in the future.

Within a virtual National Day anniversary meeting which was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico, the Mexican Foreign Ministry extended their best wishes to the Vietnamese people and expressed its desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation for the prosperity of both countries.

In Brunei, the Vietnamese Embassy held various sports and culture activities within the Embassy premises with the participation of Brunei leaders and foreign diplomats in the country.
