Vietnam's film industry struggles to change its gloomy outlook

VTV.vn - For the first time in 47 years of development, no Vietnamese films were introduced in the Vietnam Film Festival 2017 or the Golden Kites Awards 2016.

State-owned film studios in Vietnam have fallen into crisis since they lacked human resources and financial support. Vietnamese film directors and producers face the fire need to change their strategies.
