Vietnamese youths join hands to support disadvantaged community

This year’s theme, ‘I love my Motherland’, drew the participation of over 1500 HCM Communist Youths. The programme will donate blankets, clothes, food, school equipment and personal belongings to people in need. Moreover, it will try to raise a fund to build social houses and schools for disadvantaged children. Alongside donations, the ‘Winter and Spring Volunteers’ will assist farmers in harvesting techniques for cold-weather conditions. At the launch ceremony, 30 scholarships and 15 bicycles were granted to poor children.
