Vietnamese science students rank 8th/72

This is according to a research project called "Programme for International Student Assessment" or PISA by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Vietnam is currently ahead of developed education systems such as the US, the UK, Australia and France in scientific disciplines. However, mathematics and reading ranks have dropped 5 and 13 places, respectively.

Conducted once every 3 years, PISA assesses 15-year-old students who have just finished compulsory education. It is a credible source of information for the Ministry of Education to consider for future development direction.
