This was achieved during a trip of about 20 Vietnamese enterprises to Italy and France to promote trade, held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In Italy, those enterprises exhibited and introduced their products to Coop and Conad, two of the biggest Italian retailers which account for a third of market share. Meanwhile, in France, the delegation had the opportunity to work with Casino and Auchan. The two retailers have already previously distributed Vietnamese products in their supermarkets. The four retailers have committed to creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese products to enter their systems in both Europe and other countries.
