Pork prices have on average increased by 7,000 VND per kilogram. Particularly, Dong Nai Province has achieved an average price of 28,000 VND per kg for regular pork, which is 10,000 VND higher than the lowest price in recent time. Meanwhile, pork produced under VietGap standards has reached selling prices as high as 32,000 VND. Experts attribute this comeback to reduced production costs, preferential loans from banks, and favourable policies from local authorities across Vietnam. Moreover, pork manufacturers have collaborated with authorities and agencies to enhance safety procedures and quality control.
