The agreement was reached after the talks between Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and head of the CPV Central Committee Office Nguyen Van Nen and Politburo member, head of the LPRP Central Committee Office Khamphanh Phommathat.
Both sides briefed each other on the situation of their respective Parties, countries and offices in recent times and examined ways to boost cooperation between the two offices in the time to come.
Following the talks, the directors of the offices’ archives departments also signed a plan to realize the cooperation programme on records management, archives and library from now to 2020.
The delegation of the LPRP Central Committee Office is on a working visit to Vietnam from August 20-24.
