Vietnamese, Lao fronts discuss enhacing ties

At the reception ceremony to welcome the Vietnamese delegation, Lao Party General Secretary and President Bounnhang Vorachith lauded activities to celebrate 55 years of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic ties and 40 years of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty on Amity and Cooperation.

In return, VFF President Tran Thanh Man expressed his hope that Laos would provide further support for Vietnamese people to live and work in Laos.

Earlier, President of the Lao Front for National Construction Saysomphone Phomvihane conveyed his sympathy for the Vietnamese victims of recent floods.
