Currently, Vietnamese fruits have entered more than 40 countries, including some high-end markets. This year, fruit exporters have managed to approach a wide range of new markets such as Canada, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and even South America. Earlier this year, the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development submitted fruit export applications to Argentina, Brazil and Peru and are awaiting approvals.
