The new agreement marks the next chapter in the partnership established between SABECO and VFF in 2022. Building on the strong foundation created over the past years, both sides will deepen their collaboration to support football development, engage communities through the power of sport, and create long-term value for the nation's football ecosystem.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Lester Tan Teck Chuan, General Director of SABECO, said: "In Vietnam, football has a unique ability to unite millions of people through a shared sense of pride, resilience, and aspiration. Beyond supporting the national teams, we hope this partnership contributes to the continued advancement of Vietnamese football, strengthens the bond between the teams and their supporters, and reinforces the spirit of unity and national pride that brings communities together."
Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of VFF, shared: "The extension of our partnership for another three years reflects the trust and strong relationship that both organizations have built over years of successful collaboration. We believe SABECO's continued support will not only provide valuable resources for the development of Vietnamese football, but also inspire our national teams to pursue even greater achievements while bringing the positive values of sport closer to fans and communities across the country."
Leaders from the Vietnam Sports Department, the Vietnam Football Federation, and SABECO took a commemorative photo with representatives of the coaching staff and players.
Beyond supporting Vietnam's national football teams, the long-term partnership between SABECO and VFF reflects the company's broader commitment to advancing Vietnamese sports, strengthening communities and fostering national pride.
Since 2022, SABECO have accompanied Vietnam's men's, women's and U23 national teams throughout major regional and international competitions. Football sponsorship forms part of SABECO's long-term strategy to support Vietnamese sports, nurture young talent and encourage more balanced lifestyles.
SABECO has also launched a number of community initiatives that leverage the unifying power of sport. In 2022, the "Vietnam Wins Gold" campaign united millions of supporters behind Vietnamese national teams during the 31st SEA Games, while contributing to the training and competition programmes for national athletes.
From 2023 to 2025, SABECO partnered with the annual "Vietnam Sports Glory" programme to honour outstanding athletes and coaches, celebrating sporting excellence and encouraging future generations to pursue their aspirations.
