Vietnamese film screened at Canadian ASEAN Film Festival

The film directed by Victor Vũ is set in a small village in the mid-1980s, and tells stories of brotherhood, friendship and the neighborhood. The screening was part of the activities held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ASEAN and the 40th anniversary of ASEAN-Canada relations. Seven other films from ASEAN countries were also screened.
