Vietnamese economy recovering but difficulties to persist: VEPR
VTV.vn - In terms of Vietnam's economy in 2022, according to the Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR), while the economy is in recovery, it will continue to face numerous difficulties and obstacles.

In its 'Vietnam Economic Annual Report 2022', published Friday morning, VEPR identified the slowdown of the global economy and the economies of Vietnam's important partners as key challenge.

Among its partners, it has faced difficulties from China's strict pandemic control measures.

The VEPR report introduced several GDP growth scenarios in 2022, with the growth rate at 5.7 percent in the base scenario and 6.2 percent in the positive one. However, in the negative scenario, VEPR forecasts GDP growth to decrease to 5.2 percent.
