Vietnamese children receive free cleft lip and palate surgery

VTV.vn - According to the Japanese Cleft Palate Foundation, there are currently about 3000 children born with cleft lips or palates in Vietnam.

Since 1993, this foundation has performed free cleft lip and palate surgeries for around 4000 children in a number of localities in Vietnam. The doctors of the foundation also have also applied the experiences they learned in Vietnam to cases in other countries.
