Jointly organised by the APEC 2017 National Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Da Nang People’s Committee, the exhibition displays 100 artistic photos which introduces Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes, economic and tourism potential, and culture as well as the life of Vietnamese people.
The event is hoped to contribute to the common success of the APEC Vietnam Year 2017 while bringing the images of Vietnam’s land and people closer to international friends and opening up new investment opportunities for the country in various fields such as economy, culture and tourism.
The APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week, themed “Creating New Dymanism, Fostering A Shared Future” is scheduled for November 6-11 in Da Nang.
Established in 1989, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) comprises 21 economies, including Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, China, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, the US, and Vietnam.
APEC represents about 39% of the world’s population and contributes 57% to global GDP and 49% of international trade.
