Nearly 50% of Vietnamese consumers are willing to pay for high value commodities. However, they are still hailed as world's most economical spenders, according to the latest research of Nielsen Holdings. Specifically, 76 percent of the Vietnamese who participated in the survey said they save their money after covering essential living expenses. About two fifths of them spend on tourism, clothes, technological products, home repairs and entertainment services. Vietnamese people's five priorities are health, job stability, financial status, work-life balance, and welfare of their parents.
