Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh called for more vigorous collaboration between and increased exchanges between the 2 sides. Moreover, he requested that China create more favourable conditions for Vietnamese exports to enter the Chinese market. Deputy PM Minh expressed concerns over the recent tensions in the East Sea and urged that all parties involved abide by international laws.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi agreed with Vietnam’s collaboration requests. He also promised that China would resolve disputes by peaceful means and was willing to co-operate in the East Sea.
