Vietnam wins silver medal at WorldSkill 2019

VTV.vn - A Vietnamese team competing at WorldSkills 2019, the world championships for vocational skills, held in Kazan, Russia, has won a silver medal.

This is the team's highest achievement after taking part in the competition seven times.

Trương Thế Diệu, from the Việt Nam Training Academy of DENSO Vietnam Co., Ltd, brought home the silver medal in Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Milling. Eight other Vietnamese competitors received awards for excellence. The 45th WorldSkills Kazan was held for the first time in Russia between August 22 and 27. More than 1,300 contestants competed in 56 skill competitions across six skills sectors.
