Vietnam wins AFF Suzuki Cup trophy

Nguyen Anh Duc wowed everyone when he scored with a wonderful volley inside the box in the sixth minute of the game. Goalkeeper Dang Van Lam made a series of critical saves and preserved the home field's advantage. Thanks to his impressive performance, 21-year-old midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai was named Most Valuable Player of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018. Quang Hai played in all eight matches for Park Hang-seo's team, and scored 3 goals as well as assisted in another couple in 719 minutes on the field.
