With more than 125 thousand cases of cancer recognized each year and ninety thousand people dying from cancer each year, Vietnam is the country with the highest fatality rate of cancer. One of the reasons for this is because of the late recognition and treatment of cancer.
However, with the development of next-generation gene decoding along with artificial intelligence applications, physicians have quickly identified cancer cells, allowing them to propose the optimal treatment.
At this conference, Anderson Cancer Center in collaboration with Khanh Hoa General Hospital launched the Vietnam-US Institute of Bio-medicals in Nha Trang city. This is the first step in long-term cooperation between Vietnam and the United States in cancer treatment.
