Broadcasting daily at 17:30 on VTV1 starting from January 1, 2019, “Vietnam Today” is a "new dish” in the menu of programs to serve VTV's news viewers. With the change in the program schedule of VTV1 in 2019, the production team decided to stop the Daily Routine program and put all their energy into the new one.
"The 10th anniversary of Daily Routine in October 2017 is an opportunity for us to look back on a program and see what we have done, what is yet to achieved and how to continue making the time slot an indispensable meeting point for the audience.
But it is not until the second half of 2018 that the change of format of Daily Life was thought of. And the decision to stop completely Daily Routine to switch to Vietnam Today program was only approved 3 months ago. The main reason is due to changes in the program schedule of VTV1. Vietnam Today will start from 17:30, 15 minutes earlier than Daily Routine and it is important to change the approach of the program "- journalist Ha Thu Hang - Head of Social Issues Division of VTV’s News Department- talked about the Vietnam Today program.
The hosts of Vietnam Today will be the familiar journalists: Mai Ngoc, Hoang Duong, Tuan Duong and Ngoc Bich. They are expected to hook the audience and keep them staying with the show.
