Vietnam to enjoy preferential tax rate next year

VTV.vn - Vietnamese exports to the markets of Canada, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia will enjoy preferential tax rates, starting from January 14th. This is the result of Vietnam becoming the seventh country to officially ratify the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

According to experts, Vietnamese enterprises should actively learn about the agreement as well as its impacts. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said the CPTPP is expected to hold its first meeting in the first quarter of next year to review the implementation of the agreement and discuss the admission of new members.
