The event held special significance, commemorating 100 years of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam. Its organization was meticulous, with activities throughout the festival designed to showcase the entire identity of Vietnamese journalism, encompassing both its traditional roots and modern innovations, highlighting its historical journey and the vital contributions journalism has made to the country’s revolutionary cause.

In the shared joy and pride of the national press community marking the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, the National Press Fair 2025 attracted nearly 130 exhibition booths showcasing outstanding journalistic products from more than 80 central and local media outlets. These booths were meticulously prepared, featuring diverse formats and rich content, offering a panoramic view of the professional and modern development of Vietnamese journalism. Many organizations presented multimedia journalistic works and integrated cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality to engage the audience, demonstrating the press's proactive efforts and determination to keep pace with global technological advancements.
Within the framework of the 2025 National Press Fair, the Organizing Committee and the Awards Council selected and announced the winners as follows: 5 First Prizes, 7 Second Prizes, 16 Third Prizes, and 19 Consolation Prizes in the category of Impressive Exhibition Booths; 3 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, and 12 Third Prizes in the category of Outstanding Events and Activities within the fair; and 8 First Prizes, 14 Second Prizes, 20 Third Prizes, and 15 Consolation Prizes in the category of Impressive Journalistic Products.

At the Closing Ceremony of the National Press Fair 2025, Vietnam Television (VTV) was honored with multiple prestigious awards. These included a First Prize for Outstanding Exhibition Booth, a First Prize for Impressive Journalistic Product with the program Forever Echoing the Triumphant Song (produced by the Department of Culture and Entertainment), and a Third Prize for Impressive Journalistic Product with the program Spring Journey 2025: In Search of Vietnamese Beauty (produced by the Department of Feature and Educational Programs).
The program Forever Echoing the Triumphant Song was produced by Vietnam Television under the direction of the Central Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. The program aimed to convey the profound meaning of the Great Spring Victory of 1975 and was broadcast from three live locations: Thong Nhat Park and Tran Nhan Tong Street in Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi; the National Special Historical Site of Hien Luong – Ben Hai (Quang Tri); and Saigon Riverside Park in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
Meanwhile, Spring Journey is a program that explores the traditional cultural identity and values of the Vietnamese people. Under the theme "In Search of Vietnamese Beauty", the 2025 journey told stories drawn from daily life, such as mother's lullaby to her child, the warmth of a teapot during early-year conversations, the flavors of traditional dishes, and the aesthetics of Vietnamese living spaces. The program took viewers across various provinces, tracing the nation's cultural roots and highlighting its core values.
