Vietnam Television to host ASEAN Children Festival

The second Asean Children Festival will be held from May 29 to June 4 with the participation of chldren from 7 Asean countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and two guest countries of South Korea and China. 

Under the theme Revealing Journey, the festival will open with performances of children fron nine countries which will be   broadcast live on the night of June 1 on VTV1. Also a street carnaval will be held in the Sword Lake pedestrian area on June 3.

The carnaval will be recorded for broadcast on June 4.

VTV was also hosting the first Asean Children Festival in 2016 which was a success.
