This year, the tourism industry has welcomed about 15.6 million international visitors and served over 80 million domestic tourists with the total revenue from tourism reaching over 2.6 billion USD. Major tourist centers of the country with strong growth rates are Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Da Nang. At the same time, the competitiveness of Vietnam Tourism compared to other countries in the region and the world also increased rapidly.
