The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Environment has forecasted that Vietnam's fruits and vegetable exports this year may reach a revenue of 3.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 42% to 50% compared to last year.
This is a record high, and the basis for making vegetable exports the leading sector of Vietnam's agriculture.
Vietnam's fruits and vegetables have also become popular in Singapore. Exports such as rice, coffee, and vegetables are becoming increasingly easier to find in local supermarket chains.
