VTV.vn - In spite of many difficulties, the crude oil output of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) in 2017 has exceeded the Government-assigned plan by 1.3 million tones, significantly contributing to the growth of the country's GDP.

This was one of the important announcements at the conference to review activities in 2017 and deploy a plan for 2018 held by PVN in Hanoi on Friday. Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung also attended the conference.

Apart from exceeding targeted crude oil production, PVN has contributed nearly 1 billion US dollars to the national budget.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung expressed his appreciation for the achievements and praised the leaders and employees of the sector who overcame difficulties and fulfilled their tasks, contributing to achieving socio-economic development targets in 2017.
