This is a chance to look back at Vietnam's contributions to APEC in the past two decades, the world's leading economic conference. The conference has also helped Vietnam develop a vision and direction for the years ahead.
The next 10 to 15 years will be a key transformation phase for APEC. For this reason, the APEC agenda after 2020 should enhance its adaptability and leadership in global economic governance, and move towards building a community of peace, stability, dynamism, innovation, and prosperity in the interest of people and enterprises. Vietnam is committed to continuing to cooperate with other members in order to shape and realize that vision.
