VTV.vn - On March 5, the award ceremony for the children's drawing contest about the friendship between Vietnam and Russia took place in Hanoi.

This is the 2nd event of its kind and is co-organised by the two friendship associations in Russia and Vietnam and the Pushkin Institute of Russian Language in Hanoi. The contest saw the participation of many children aged 6 to 16 from both countries.

"Vietnam - Russia Friendship", "Travelling with the birds of peace", "A faithful friendship", "Russian friends celebrating Tet in my hometown"… are some examples from the 41 excellent drawings of the drawing contest about the Vietnam - Russia friendship.

Members from Vietnam's side of the organising board received 153 drawings from both Vietnamese and Russian contestants. The panel of judges worked hard to thoroughly judge all entries over 3 rounds.

It's difficult to choose the best drawing because they are drawn in very different styles that convey different sentiments. But through it all, the strong friendship between Vietnam and Russian children clearly stood out” – said Konstantin Vnukov, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam.

After the second contest in both Vietnam and Russia, the two friendship associations in the two countries will start organizing a third contest next year.
