VTV.vn - Vietnam’s total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have remained at 268 over the past 48 hours, with 198 having recovered and been discharged from hospitals, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health on the morning of April 18.

The number of recoveries have now accounted for nearly three quarters of total cases in Vietnam.

The number of active patients is 70, including 66 Vietnamese and four foreigners, who are receiving treatment at 12 health facilities throughout the country.

Among them, 17 have tested negative for the virus, with four having tested negative for a second time.

To continue the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, many provinces and cities have decided to keep schools shut until May 3, facilitating learning through televised or online lessons.

In Russia, the Vietnamese Embassy liaised with a group of Vietnamese doctors and held an online advisory session on Covid-19 in order to provide basic information about the epidemic for and answers questions from the Vietnamese community in Russia.
