Vietnam Red Cross support for flood-hit areas
VTV.vn - The Vietnam Red Cross Society will provide emergency support worth nearly 46.000 USD to the provinces of Yen Bai, Sơn La and Lai Chau in response to severe floods.
Families which have lost loved ones will receive 132 USD for each life lost. Each of 224 families with damaged houses will also receive 132 USD. In addition, tents, and construction equipment and utensils will also be given to people in flood-hit areas.
