Vietnam receives an additional 1.4 million AstraZeneca vaccines

The latest delivery was the largest batch as part of the contract to buy 30 million doses between AstraZeneca and VNVC, with the support of the Ministry of Health.

To date, the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company has delivered 8.2 million doses.

Vietnam has received nearly 17 million AstraZeneca vaccine doses through the above-mentioned contract, the COVAX facility and donations from foreign countries.

The AstraZeneca vaccine accounts for about 64% of the COVID-19 vaccine supply in Vietnam.
