Vietnam ready to work with Japan in combating COVID-19

The PM conveyed his wishes for Vietnam to cooperate with Japan on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic. Amid the current situation, he hopes that the Japanese Government and businesses will continue to promote trade and investments between the two countries.

Ambassador Kunio Umeda expressed his admiration for the Government and Prime Minister Phuc for the way it has prevented and controlled the virus and its positive results.

Japan is also making an effort to prevent a pandemic and would like to thank Prime Minister Phuc for his letter to Prime Minister Abe Shinzo. The Vietnamese PM emphasized that this is the foundation of the leaders of the two countries to exchange and discuss many issues in bilateral cooperation as well as international and regional issues.
